Stroke Recovery Care at Home - North Coast NSW

Supporting Your Stroke Recovery Journey at Home

Coming home after a stroke is a significant moment - and often an uncertain one. The hospital stay might be over, but recovery is just beginning.

Stroke survivors can face challenges with movement, balance, speech, memory, fatigue, and emotional wellbeing, all at the same time.

What's needed is consistent, familiar support that adapts to where you are in your recovery.

At Ideally Home Care, we work with stroke survivors and their families across the North Coast and Northern Rivers to provide in-home care that supports daily life and keeps recovery moving forward - in the comfort of home, not a facility.

We provide stroke recovery home care across the Northern Rivers, Clarence Valley, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Mid North Coast, Tweed Heads, and Coolangatta regions.

Coming Home After a Stroke

The first weeks at home after a stroke are often the most demanding - for the survivor and for family members.

There may be gaps between physio or speech therapy appointments, uncertainty about what activities are safe, and the practical challenge of daily tasks that were once simple.

Our Support Workers can step in from day one at home - helping with personal care, safe movement around the house, meal preparation, and accompanying your loved one to follow-up medical appointments.

Having consistent, familiar support during this transition makes a real difference to both recovery progress and family peace of mind.
