In-Home Aged Care Across the Mid North Coast
Ideally Home Care supports older Australians to live independently in their own homes right across the Mid North Coast.
From the riverside streets of Port Macquarie and the beaches of Lake Cathie and Bonny Hills, to Wauchope in the Hastings hinterland, the Camden Haven villages of Laurieton and North Haven, and south through Kempsey, Taree and Forster-Tuncurry on the Manning.
Our local support workers and care managers live and work in the communities they serve. They understand the distances involved - a client in Wauchope has different logistical needs to someone in Forster-Tuncurry or South West Rocks, and they plan accordingly.
When you contact us, you will speak with someone who genuinely knows where you live.
Support at Home in the Mid North Coast
From November 1st, 2025, the Australian Government's new Support at Home program replaced the old Home Care Package system.
- If you were on a Home Care Package (Level 1–4), your funding has transitioned to Support at Home.
- If you are new to government-funded care, the process begins with a free assessment through My Aged Care (https://www.myagedcare.gov.au/)
Ideally Home Care is an approved Support at Home provider.
We help Mid North Coast residents navigate the assessment process, understand their funding classification, and build a care plan that gets the most from their budget.
Services can include personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, transport, nursing visits, and allied health support. Learn more about our pricing schedule here.
Already have a Home Care Package or Support at Home budget? You can switch to Ideally Home Care at any time. There is no lock-in with your previous provider.
